Palm PDA
Echo was designed to run on virtually any Palm or Palm-compatible device running PalmOS 4 or a previous OS. NOTE: Echo is NOT compatible with Palm OS 5.0, as found in the Palm Tungsten PDA, or any Windows CE or PocketPC PDA, such as iPaq or Journada. OS5 and PocketPC support is currently in development.
Desktop PC
Echo installs using the Install Tool, or Quick Install tool. Both of these are part of the Palm Desktop software for your PC or Macintosh and must be installed prior to installing Echo.

I have modified my aircraft, changing the performance data and checks. Can I still use Echo?

New with Echo 2.0 is the ability to edit every piece of aircraft-specific data. Start with the model that closest resembles your aircraft. Then, you can reorder the checklists, delete an item, insert a new item, change the cruise profile information, modify a V-speed, and much more. It's all within your power with Echo 2.0. |
Is Echo™ compatible with my WinCE device?

Currently, only a Palm-compatible version of Echo is available. However, we are working on a WinCE version. However, no release date has been set. |
What is new in Echo version 2.0?
|
In addition to the aircraft-specific information found in earlier Echo versions, 2.0's two main new features are the built-in E6B flight computer and the ability to edit every piece of information contained in the software. Many other features have been added as well, such as twin timers, an improved frequency organizer, and a preference page that allows you to set up Echo as you need. |
I currently use an earlier version of Echo. Can I upgrade?

When you submit your registration card, you are eligible to take part in our Infinite Update™ program. Once you become a registered Echo user, you will receive each Echo upgrade free of charge. If you have registered Echo 1.5 or earlier, contact us for upgrade information. |
